How To Order - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Upon placing your order through this shop page, you will be billed $1 to process the transaction. When we receive your order, our team will be in touch to schedule a quick 10-30min intro meeting with you so we can confirm all of the details of your order. The Modix lineup of printers has several add-ons and upgrades, which we can walk you through during this meeting.
Once we establish the details of your order, we will send you an invoice which can be paid via credit card (with a 4% transaction fee), or ACH/Wire Transfer with no fee. Once the invoice is paid, we will then proceed with finalizing your order with Modix. If your printer configuration and add-ons are in stock, it will ship immediately to our facility where we will begin the assembly (Modix printers are shipped in kits that need to be assembled). This assembly service is included in the price of your printer and the leadtime for just the assembly is currently 2-3 weeks. If your printer configuration is not in stock, we will be in touch with you to establish a leadtime.
Once your Modix printer has been fully assembled by our team of professional 3D printing technicians, it will ship from our facility to yours via ground or air transport at an additional cost to be determined at the time of shipment. This shipping cost will be invoiced separately and must be paid within 5 business days of its delivery to your facility. If this shipping cost is not paid within this timeframe, you will incur a $100/day fee until confirmation of payment has been made.
Once we arrange the shipment, we will confirm with you a window of time which we can complete the onsite installation service and training of your Modix printer. This training will take place over the course of two days at your location where we will go over every aspect of the printer so that you can operate it with confidence! We will go over general maintenance and best practices for use along with basic slicer profile set up for your materials and test print a couple established profiles. Opting out of the installation service will incur a $3,000 fee, we STRONGLY suggest that you take advantage of our training service even if you have been printing for years.
